Thank you to everyone who volunteered for the HOF Festivities (Parade Marshals & Ribs Burnoff) this past month!

It’s Fall in northeast Ohio…there is a chill in the air and there are football games every weekend. The holidays will be around the corner before you know it and the Canton Jaycees are making preparations to be ready. We are currently running several fundraising projects to ensure that our holiday projects (Christmas Shopping Tour and Holiday Food Baskets) are a success. We hope that each and every member can help out, in some way with these projects. Please look for articles in this Link which explain these projects.

We were pleased to have Joe Schauer, the Brain Gain chairman attend our September membership meeting to discuss the upcoming plans of the Brain Gain committee. We will continue to make every effort to work in cooperation with them to further our common goals of promoting the interests of the Young Professional community in Canton.

It will be very important to have a large membership turnout at our October meeting. We will have Board Elections for 2007. If you are interested in being on the Board of Directors for next year, please contact me ASAP! We do still need more candidates on the ballot.
