The Canton Jaycees will host their Bicycle Poker Run on Sunday, August 12, 2007. The event will start at the Lake Trailhead of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail in Massillon, go eight miles north to Canal Fulton, and return to the Lake Trailhead.
Registration begins at 8:30am the day of the event, or you may pre-register by contacting Emily Super at 330-471-3187 or by going to our website at www.cantonjaycees.org, printing the form and mailing it, with the registration fee, to the address listed. Participants who are pre-registered by July 31st, 2007 will receive an event t-shirt.
The first bike out will be 9:00am, the last bike out will be 1:00pm, and the last bike in will be 4:00pm. The cost of the event is $10 per participant, and additional hands may be purchased for $5 each. Any participants who get $50 in sponsors, paid in full the day of the event, will not be charge the $10 participation fee.
This event is open to all ages, but minors must have a parent/guardian signature on the registration/release form in order to participate.
Prizes will be awarded to the top five poker hands. Winners will be contacted after the event.
Additionally, we will have a 50/50 Drawing and a Basket Raffle. The cost of tickets for these are 3 for $2, 10 for $5, 30 for $10. Winners will be drawn at the end of the event. Winners need not be present to win.
