CarlaAs the 2007 President, I am very excited to lead a new board, coming in with wonderful enthusiasm and new ideas.  I suppose this is the forum for the President to ramble on about anything she wants to, so here goes.

After living through some tough losses in the last few weeks, I remember that it is very important for all of us to have faith.  Things happen, good and bad, and once they're done, you can never go back.

I've heard it before, it doesn't matter what youbelieve in, as long as you believe.  There is an unseen force, something that makes the world go 'round.  It controls those things that you can't.

But look back at events in your life where you've asked, "Why?"

Did you believe there was  a reason?

Did you believe then that things would be better now?

 We  never do.

Eventually your mind wakes up and you see that the sun still came up and the kids are still laughing outside, and you're still here. Have faith that it will always work out that way, no matter what challenge you face.

It doesn't even have to apply to death and tragedy.
That last presentation you had to make...did you believe you could make it through that?  Did you feel silly afterwards?

Our beliefs and our faith are challenged all the time.
It doesn't matter what you believe in, as long as you believe, and I'll be darned if hasn't  worked out that way so far.

Do you agree?
