Did you know...  1. Canton Jaycees is a young professionals (ages 21-40) leadership training and community service organization2. Canton Jaycees was established in 19343. In 1937 Jaycees founded the Canton Symphony Orchestra Association4. Jaycees promoted establishment and growth of the City Park System5. During 1950’s Canton Jaycees headed the campaign to fund construction of City Hall6. During 1960’s Jaycees were instrumental in ensuring that Canton would become the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s permanent home7. Jaycees developed and constructed Mother Gooseland, a unique public park dedicated to the children of Canton8. During 1970’s Jaycees helped raise funds to restore local treasures such as McKinley Monument and Fawcett Stadium 9. In 1979, Jaycees took ownership of Canton Palace Theatre, and helped to renovate and restore the Theatre and form the Palace Theatre Association10. Canton Jaycees continue to be one of the most active chapters in the state of Ohio.
